About Islam
The One God
Allah is the Creator of the heavens and the earth.
He is the Lord of the worlds.
He is the Maker of Adam and Eve.
He is the sender of the prophets.
He is the revealer of the scriptures.
He is The One God and there is no god but Him.

The prophets
Allah the exalted sent the prophets as a mercy for mankind,
To bring the people out from the darkness into the light.
The prophets of Allah called to the worship of The One God.
They warned against worshipping others besides Him.
From Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus and Muhammad,
Peace and blessings be upon them all.

The scriptures
Allah the exalted revealed His Words through scripture.
He revealed the first scripture to Abraham.
He revealed the Torah to Moses.
He revealed the Zabur (Psalms) to David.
He revealed the Injeel (Gospel) to Jesus.
He revealed the Quran to Muhammad.

The straight path
The straight path is the life of submission to our Lord.
It is a life of sincere faith, worship and obedience.
It is the way of the prophets and their companions,
Who were all united upon the pure religion of truth.
It is a path which is free from hypocrisy and sectarianism,
With each denomination following a misguided way.
The life of worship
Our living and our dying is for Allah the Lord of the worlds.
Blessed is His Name, exalted is His Majesty, there is no god but Him.
Our prayer is for Him bowing and prostrating to The All High.
Our charity is for Him hoping in His forgiveness and reward.
Our fasting is for Him seeking spiritual nourishment and closeness.
Our pilgrimage is for Him declaring His oneness and perfection.

The divine laws
Allah the exalted has prescribed laws for His creation.
These laws are full of justice, balance and perfection.
He has commanded righteous laws for mankind.
He has prohibited sin, immorality, extremism and corruption.
And in the laws of retribution there is saving of life,
Through deterrence and the fear of punishment.

The holy wars
The wars of the prophets were for the sake of Allah.
From Joshua, David, Solomon and Muhammad,
Peace and blessings be upon them all.
Islam is free and far removed from the fighting of today,
Which is full of evil, injustice and corruption,
As a punishment for those who have abandoned the way.

The Day of Judgment
Every soul will taste death then to our Lord will be the final return.
The Horn will be blown and the souls will be gathered,
To stand before The True King on the Day of Resurrection.
All those who did good will see it and all those who did bad will see it.
The scrolls will be opened and the scales will be brought,
For the mighty reckoning of Judgment Day.

The message of Islam
Islam is the call to believe in The One God and to worship only Him.
It is the message of the prophets who were all sent by their Lord.
It is a glad tidings for those who believe and perform righteous deeds,
That for them will be Paradise with its gardens beneath which rivers flow.
And it is a warning to the disbelievers and the hypocrites,
That for them will be Hell with severe punishment from their Lord.
