Tawakkul Publications is dedicated to the original teachings of Islam upon the collective evidences from the Quran and the Sunna. Allah the mighty and majestic revealed the last scripture and sent the last messenger to revive the pure religion of monotheism upon the way of the prophets. By following the Quran and the Sunna, we align ourselves with the truth as we strive to follow the straight path. The religion with Allah is one, the brotherhood of the prophets is one, and the fellowship of the believers is one.

Sister Kamillah is an American Muslim whose ancestors came to America during the Great Puritan Migration between 1620-1640. Her forefathers took part in the American revolution and included the likes of Ebenezer Britton who served in the Second Continental Congress. She was born and raised in Michigan in a Christian household where she was kept close to the religious teachings and the church. Her relatives included Southern Baptist ministers from the Bible Belt of North Carolina. At the age of twelve she attended confirmation class in keeping with the Christian tradition. During those classes she discovered that she did not believe as Christians believed. She did not believe in the trinity nor did she believe that God had a son. She discussed her belief with her minister recalling his words when he said, “If you believe that way then you are not a Christian.” Thus she began her journey in search of the truth with Allah the exalted guiding her to Islam at the age of twenty in the 1970s. Through studying the primary sources of Islam, she recognized it as the religion of pure monotheism. She was deeply moved by how the religion firmly upheld the greatest of all commandments to believe in our Lord, The One God, and to worship only Him. She was reassured by how the teachings answered her questions about the stories of the prophets. Since that time, she has spent her years practicing Islam and studying the teachings from the Quran and the Sunna. She is a devout practicing Muslim and a student of knowledge who calls to monotheism and the original understanding of the religion. She is a sociologist who has travelled the world journeying across USA, Europe, Middle East, Asia, Australia and Africa. She has seen the sectarianism which has plagued the Muslim world of today. She calls away from sectarianism and extremism which has no place in the true religion of Islam.

Sister Kamillah is an Islamic writer who has published many works throughout the years. She is known for presenting the evidences so the readers can take from where she took and directly read the sources. Her books are available in universities, national libraries and bookstores around the world. We have published several of her books which we have showcased on this website. She has many unfinished works and writings which she hopes to complete. We ask Allah the exalted to assist us in publishing these books. Truly, He is The Ally and The Helper.
